I bought a kit from the Inverter store four years ago. Four weeks ago I experienced flickering lights and my TV turning off. Through multiple test I determined that when the inverter fan turned due to internal heat there was a voltage drop from 144V to 39V AC. I sent a video to Andrew Frey the VP of the company. I talked to him on the phone and what it boiled down to was send it in for them to test and fix outside of their two year warranty, industry standard is five to ten years. The shipping I would pay both ways and parts alone made this financially impossible. I tried to get an idea as to what might be the problem and Andrew stated it could be this it could be that what-a-ma call it. In other words send it in. I will try and use the Industrial Circuit Repair out of NC to fix and then sell it as I bought a whole new system with a TEN year warranty.

The Inverter Store sold me a non functional unit and wouldn't stand behind what they sell. Second time I've experienced problems with The Inverter Store. Inverters R US stand's behind the products they sell with great customer service.

Sky had PLENTY of time to tell me over the phone during our lengthy conversation regarding how to complete what is to me a complicated computer portal return process, that if they determine after inspection the battery within spec, that I would have to pay a hostage's ransom amount in shipping costs just to get my original battery back. Now my original 31lb, $850 battery just became a 31lb, $1070 battery, if I ever want to see it again. I feel though apparently it was in the fine print, (Who actually reads it?) this was not transparent, or honest. I do NOT recommend this business.
