Went to their location in person completely empty office with no one present despite being listed as open when I called their number turned out no one was at the location and offered zero assistance and no information for when someone might be there in person. When asking about a possible repair for a work/personal pc was rudely told "oh sorry we only do $300 an hour here" like I was some poor beggar. 100% willing to pay but couldn't get a word in due to rude receptionist constantly interrupting me. Clarify I was only looking for someone to do a yearly CPU cooling fan maintenance job. 0/10 would not recommend for anyone since there so high on their white horse ego.

I was having issues with my laptop connecting to the internet and a hard drive that was operating too slow to be useful. I emailed for an appointment and received a response within 15 minutes. The staff is extremely responsive and flexible to accommodate my schedule. I brought both items in and was assisted by Kevin. He was friendly and knowledgeable, even offering to make a house call if need be. I will be recommending Au Technologies to friends and family who are in need of tech support. Thanks for the help!

Kevin is the best. I was a walk in, although he prefers appointment first. Took an hour of his time to diagnose my issue on my laptop. Let me know It's really not worth putting 400 into fixing since the graphics was fried. He then spent another 30 mins making a list of what parts to buy for my own custom build for a desktop that I've always wanted to do but didn't feel confident. Kevin is the tech friend you wish you had. Highly recommend calling him and stop going to anywhere else if you want to save money. Thank you so much Kevin. Looking forward to my build!

A business colleague of mine was in from Europe and stopped to see me on his way to a major healthcare conference in San Francisco where he had multiple scheduled meetings and multiple PowerPoint presentations that were stored on his computer. While staying with me his computer refused to boot up, and it was a Sunday. I called Kevin at Lab5-8, he tried walking us through a fix over the phone and when that did not work, we met him at his office and within an hour he had the computer working perfectly. He literally saved my friend from a business disaster. Professional, polite and incredibly good. Really knows his stuff and I would not hesitate to use him again and recommend him to others.
